Life Model Painting and Drawing Workshop
Join us for drawing or painting from the live model. 10 to 40 minute poses will be used throughout the session starting with very short to medium to a longer more sustained one.
This workshop is for all Levels.(Beginne—Advanced)
- UN-instructed but moderated.
- $15 drop-in Fee per session.
- Tables and Easels supplied.
- No photos or video allowed.
- Under 18 must have a signed permission slip from parents.
- Oil Painters must call the studio prior to registration.
- Only odorless turpenoid or similar solvent permitted, and you must take it with you. The Studio does not have facilities for disposal of solvents.

Hold on to your dreams painting balloons with positive words of inspiration on canvas! Campers will continue the morning slab building a clay wall hanging sign, using coils to create a positive message! (This project will be fired in our kiln, and we will call you when it is ready to be glazed).

Let’s create together painting this heart shaped world, showing off a rainbow of colors, using acrylic on canvas! Campers will end the day with a blast of colors exploring a paint pouring technique, on a plaster disc, to create a world of colors!

Clay Ornament Making Family Day at Art in the Pod
Fun for the whole family! Join us on November 27th for our first Holiday Clay Ornament Making Workshop! We will take you step by step through the process of creating your own unique holiday ornaments from clay. Each participant will hand build three clay ornaments using a pattern or a design of their choice. Choose between our workshop time slots of 10am to 12pm or 1pm to 3pm. There will be free raffles and other holiday goodies to enjoy. Get ready to get messy and make holiday memories with us! Family Day admission is $20.00 per person. All admitted need to purchase a ticket. Space is limited so register online at artinthepod.com or call the studio by 11/23/22.
Can’t make it on November 27th? We will also be offering studio time for clay ornament making! Call the studio for more info and to register for a studio time.

Ready, Set...SLIME! This 1.5-hour party is all the rage and fun for nearly any age. Children will enjoy different slime stations each incorporating different colors, glitter and/or decorative accents. Bring your own pizza and/or cake to add to your child's special day.

BYOB Painting On Canvas Classes
Forget the stress in one of our Open BYOB Painting On Canvas Classes.
Bring a group of friends, or make new ones while you paint. Instructors will be on hand to guide you through the class. You’ll soon be painting your cares away!
We use acrylic paint, and by the end of your class you will leave with your own completed 16×20 canvas.
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!
Our 2-1/2 hour painting classes are $45. All supplies are included. You are welcome to enjoy painting and drinking in any of our classes by bringing your own bottle of wine or another beverage. If you elect to BYOB, please do so responsibly! We have cups and corkscrews on hand. Not bringing alcoholic beverages? That's ok, we have coffee, water and juice available.
FAQ'S
How long are "Open BYOB Painting On Canvas" Classes?
At this time our BYOB classes are 2-1/2 hours.
I did not finish my painting?
No worries, you are welcome to come back and finish during one of our open classes. We do not charge for this. Because of the limited size of our classes the only requirement is to pre register for seating.
What if I’m not artistic?
Don't worry about this at all. All open BYOB classes will be run by experienced instructors who are available to help. We are sure you'll be surprised with your hidden talent.
What if I want to paint something different than everyone else is painting?
We highly recommend you paint the same painting as everyone else, as the class instruction is set to a specific painting. However feel free to express your own originality.
ALL ART SUPPLIES INCLUDED:
16" x 20" canvas (yours to take home), paint, brushes, aprons, easels, etc.
How do I sign up for a class?
You may sign up online, by phone or in person.
How do I use a voucher, gift certificate or coupon code?
To use your voucher, gift certificate or promotional coupon, simply enter the code on the registration page before checkout. Any remaining balance can be paid with your credit card.
Do I need to sign up in advance?
It is strongly recommend to sign up in advance because of our limited seating. Of course walk-ins are always welcomed if there are seats available.
Are there age requirements?
Our BYOB classes are designed for everyone 18 and up, 12 and up when accompanied by an adult.
What time do I need to arrive for a class?
We suggest arriving early to get signed in, choose your seat and meet the instructors. Our doors usually open 30 minutes before the start time.
