Glass Workshop - "Make Your Own Glass Mezuzah"

In this Workshop you will be instructed on the basic techniques of glass cutting and use decorative mediums such as frit and enamels to embellish your creation. Create two Glass Mezuzahs. If time allows, you will be able to make a total of four Mezuzahs. Each of your finished Mezuzahs can be up to 8 inches tall.
WORKSHOP DURATION: Brief instruction will be provided followed by up to 2 hours of studio time that evening to execute your design or practice your techniques.
FOOD & BEVERAGE: You may bring food and beverages, but we ask due to safety precautions that consumption occur during break time away from glass materials only.
AGE: Students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Mezuzahs will be designed to fit traditional sized scrolls which can be purchased at your local Temple store. *Create your own designs using the glass the Studio has available, on hand. All tools will be supplied. Glass fusion projects will need to be fired in our kiln. You will be called when they are ready to be picked up.
