Public Acrylic Paint Pouring - Starry Night

Thursday, 26 October 2017 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Event Description:

Acrylic Paint Pouring with additional techniques to create your very own version of "Starry Night"

We know so many of you have been waiting patiently for our acrylic paint pouring classes. Well, here is the first one open to the public.

Class Description:

In this class you will be guided through the evening with a step step instruction on our very own fluid version of the famous Starry Night by Vincent. "Acrylic Paint Pouring classes" Our newest addition to the studio. With fluid painting it's much easier to achieve what many artist study years to perfect. We will warm up with some paint mixing and a dirty pour on one of our 6x6' plaster canvases. This first pour should help you with a better understanding of how the paint flows and blends together on a plaster canvas. After a short break to reorganize and give you a chance to pour some of your favorite beverage, We will move onto the main creation of the evening. Since we are creating objects in our pour, we have found the best size canvas to use is 8x10 inches. Not to big and not to small, after all this class is about fun and leaving your stress outside. Please take a look at the video's and important information below before registering.

Important Class Information

First and most important... Dress for a MESS!
Acrylic paint does stain clothes. Please dress accordingly. We do supply aprons but if you are like us, a painter that likes to get into their work, then please, please, please dress for the paint.
You will most likely have to leave your paintings overnight to dry.

Class Fee: $45 per person
Instructors: Nina/Jane/Rich
Minimum Age: 16
Supplies Needed: None, all provided.
Skill Level: All
Dress Code: We have aprons available, but it is always wise to wear old clothes as this can be a messy (but extremely fun!) project.
Pick Up Your Dried and Coated Piece of Art On or After Wednesday, November 1st
